“Good country cooking. Lots of vegetable to choose from. While we were there (at 2 in the afternoon) they were changing out “the meats” so i think we were really lucky with an unusual range of options. The fried chicken is unbelievable!! Four people ate for less than 35 bucks.. awesome!” – Janice D.

“My wife and I stayed in the city of Evansville IN recently while running a half marathon so we decided to try this place for lunch before we got back on the road to head home. I thought that this place had some really good food. The people working there were very friendly as well as the other people who were eating. They had an awesome buffet which I the fried chicken (huge legs, I took a pic of the plate), spinach, carrots, sausage with eggs, potatoes, and a sweat tee…..yup I eat a lot. Anyhow, they did an awesome job with keeping the food stocked and hot in addition to providing a variety of other foods which I did not try (they looked awesome though). It is not that far from the highway and the city of Evansville seemed to be an awesome small town. I recommend this place if you are just stopping for a quick bite or staying at one of the local hotels for the night.” – Justin S.

Great American food prepared by the Amish tradition where everything is prepared from scratch – nothing comes from a freezer or a box. Very friendly place. This is a family own business. When we ate there, we met Ryan, the owner’s son. We instantly loved this place. Casual dress & buffet style. Yummy. – Freddie G.

“This place has some really good stuff and some things we didn’t care for nearly as much. The fried chicken and fried fish were both delicious. The mac & cheese and chicken & noodles were also yummy. The pie selection was bountiful if pedestrian. They even have a microwave next to the cobbler in the event you want to nuke it and add soft-serve. The fresh baked bread and apple butter is also not to be missed…” – Ben S.
